recently i did a T bone steak cake for some customer .
and i'm gonna teach you how i did it.
imagine a slice of t bone steak.
wait. dont just imagine, GOOGLE IT!

so i googled this picture of the steak, and i decided to use it as my template for the cake.
so firstly , i will bake a 12'' by 9" inch slab of chocolate cake
thennn... i will carve it to the shape i want and wrap it with fondant.
do the same for the chopping board.
so after you wrap the whole cake with fondant. try your best to use edible coloring to paint the marbling effect of the meat.
i use fondant to mold the tomatoes, the other ingredients and decorations on the cake. please remember to add "gum paste" into your fondant when shaping your decorations . gum paste helps to harden your fondant faster and is easier to mold it.
if your fondant is too sticky, dust some corn flour to your fondant to prevent the stickyness. it helps alot.
and always. ALWAYS . design your cake in an aircon room.
